The perfect zero waste gift for the eco warrior.

Beeswax wraps are a natural alternative to plastic wrap. Pieces of GOTS (food grade) cotton fabric are saturated in a specially formulated wax based mixture, with the right amount of resin and oil to make them pliable and have that special ‘stick’. The wraps are breathable allowing them to be moulded over food or containers. Wrap any foods that you normally wrap in plastic... bread, fruit, veg, cake etc. or place over a dish.

Simply by using the warmth of your hands to form a seal keeping its contents fresh, they can be used on almost any food (except raw meat) and can be cleaned simply with cold water and mild detergent. The wraps can either be refreshed with replenish bars which can be purchased directly from Ridgeway Bee’s or they can be twisted to make fantastic firelighters.

What makes Ridgeway Bee’s Wrap different? When we say zero waste we really mean it. Our labels are not only made from 100% recycled material, they help #savethebees. The paper contains pollinator friendly seeds which you simply tear up, plant in soil, add water and leave in a sunny spot. Et voila, bee’s food ready to be planted out in the spring ready for the bees to forage when they wake up in April.
